Adaptations of Department Store E-commerce to COVID 19: Comparison of the cases of Coppel, Palacio de Hierro, Liverpool and Elektra

Sperientia: [Studio + Lab] ® made  an investigation of four (4) department store platforms to detect good

practices applied to the new COVID-19 outbreak, as well as new e-commerce strategies in the different aspects (hygiene protocols in shipping, credit payment, etc.) of interaction during the process of choosing products, payment, shipping and later information.

 

The platforms evaluated were: Liverpool, Palacio de Hierro, Coppel and Elektra. In addition to analyzing their e-commerce sites, the communication disseminated in information media that consumers can access (social networks and emails) was also studied, focusing on prevention measures, safety and hygiene protocols.
